Private Dulaney was a WWI veteran who was honorably discharged in 1919. After the war, he worked as a private investigator. He was hired by a woman to find her husband, who had disappeared. The husband was found, but he was murdered. Private Dulaney was arrested and tried for the crime, but he was acquitted. He then disappeared and was never seen again.
