How do I set up my Optus email on Outlook using IMAP?

While traveling for work, being able to login to the Optusnet webmail portal ensured I did not miss important emails. It kept me connected no matter where my work took me. To set up your Optus email account in Outlook using IMAP, you will need:

• Your Optus email address
• Your Optus password
• list itemThe Optus IMAP incoming server (imap.mail.optusnet.com.au)
• list itemThe Optus SMTP outgoing server (smtp.mail.optusnet.com.au)
  Follow Outlook's account setup instructions and enter the above details.
  Once complete, your Optus email will sync and you can access it via Outlook.
